Transfer Scholarships - While there are a great number of students that gain acceptance to their dream college or university, there are many students who choose to complete their general education, save money, or consider areas of study while attending community college. Once your time has been completed at a community college, it may be the time for that leap to a university. Whichever route you choose, there is always the option of transferring.

Scholarship Description
The Orange County Chapter of the California Society of CPAs is proud to announce its Scholarship Award Program, offering three programs to transfer students, current undergraduates, and graduate students. Scholarships will be awarded to students with interest in pursuing professional careers in the accounting field. The Collegiate Scholarship is for business students looking to transfer to a university by the end of the current year.

Eligibility:
-Business students emphasizing accounting
-Excellent communication skills
-Interest in pursuing a career in accounting in our region
-Leadership ability
-Grade point average of 3.0 or higher
-U.S. citizen or legal resident
-Be a candidate member of CalCPA (membership is free)

Foundation awards are available to students who demonstrate a potential for college success, yet do not qualify for other academic scholarships. Heritage Awards are available to students who are members of the Reformed Church in America or are the child of a Central College alum or have a sibling who is a Central alum or current student.
